专利摘要:
A bedding litter in the form of pellets contains a combination of lignocellulose and tonsilicate, wherein the lignocellulose is in ground form and is contained as a clay silicate cellulite in ground form. As a binder for pelleting exclusively corn is used. The animal bedding preferably comprises at least one ammonia-binding substance and, for example, an additive selected from the group comprising binder, flow aid, coagulant, emulsifier, thickener and gelling agent.

Description: The invention relates to an animal bedding in the form of pellets containing a combination of lignocellulose and tonsilicate.
The animal litter according to the invention on an organic basis is used as a bedding material for a stable floor, especially for rearing in fattening farms of farm animals and for regular livestock. Animals are considered, such as poultry of all kinds, chickens, turkeys and geese, horses or cloven-hoofed animals, rabbits, rabbits and other small animals.
Stables for livestock of the aforementioned type are usually designed with bedding material. In this case, individual stalls can be created, i. one stabling per animal, such as for cows or horses.
Alternatively, larger rooms may be provided for holding a plurality of animals, such as for pigs, chickens or turkeys.
Generally, litter is used in housing livestock for extended periods of time, e.g. during the breeding or fattening phase. The disadvantage of known bedding materials is that the performance of the animals is reduced, for example by weight gain.
Another problem with animal husbandry, especially when larger amounts of animals are kept, is that because of the highly concentrated feed increased ammonia discharge occurs. This emission of ammonia leads to a high load of air and the stable climate, so that the health of the animals is heavily burdened.
Particularly critical in this context are allergic reactions of the skin, claws, indigestion, fertility disorders or abortions. Also respiratory diseases can occur.
A known product, which is formed from cellulose and lime, has no special storage capacity due to the structure of the lime and leads when used in biogas plants to settlements in the fermenter, so that the lime-containing product for biogas plants is not useful. The use of pure lime also has the disadvantage of forming dust. In addition, lime does not form a soft mat because it does not increase the volume when absorbed by moisture. Thus, in the known animal litter additional bedding is needed to provide the animals a pleasant floor space / mattress.
Another disadvantage of lime is the formation of slippery and greasy surfaces, so that animals can injure.
Finally, lime has the disadvantage that it leads to an unwanted drying out of him coming into contact body parts of the animals.
The invention has for its object to provide a Tiereinstreu of the type mentioned available, which does not have the disadvantages.
This object is achieved according to the invention with a animal litter, which has the features of claim 1.
Preferred and advantageous embodiments of the animal litter according to the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.
It is particularly advantageous that the animal litter according to the invention can be used as an energy source in biogas plants.
Therefore, the invention also relates to the use of animal litter according to the invention as an energy source in biogas plants.
By animal litter according to the invention animals that are over a long period during a day in stables, preserved from disease and the stable and lying comfort is improved.
The composition of the animal litter according to the invention leads to a strong binding of ammonia (NH3), so that the release of nitrogen to the air is prevented.
The lignocellulosic component of the animal litter according to the invention absorbs water and releases it over a longer period of time, so that the beneficial effect of dry stable floors is achieved.
The invention is based on the finding that known animal litter causes many of the diseases mentioned, especially allergic reactions, respiratory diseases, fertility disorders, indigestion. Among other things, this is because known bed materials contain residues of pesticides. Also known bed materials are contaminated by mycotoxins, endotoxins, mites or pollen. Finally, the known bed material may prove to be disadvantageous because of the dust load. Disadvantages are also the noxious gases and an increased ammonia content. In particular, the ammonia content causes ammonia to accumulate in the soil causing diseases of animals. For example, caused by the aggressive conditions caused diseases of the foot ball (foot ball lesions and bale ulcers).
An advantage of the animal litter according to the invention is that the composition of a strong reduction of the pest content is achieved in the stable floor.
Especially in cattle herds, especially in dairy farms, it can occur that coliform pathogens penetrate into the teat canal after milking. With the animal litter according to the invention, the content of tonsilicate prevents or reduces the formation of pathogens.
The animal litter according to the invention, when used as a bed material, has a very positive effect. Animal bedding has a high moisture-binding capacity, preventing or minimizing the growth of mold and the development of germs.
Another advantage of animal litter invention is that the slip resistance increases on the bed material and so the risk of injury to the musculoskeletal system is reduced by animals.
Characterized in that the lignocellulosic ground in the animal litter according to the invention, in particular milled in two stages, a very dry animal litter is achieved with high absorbency, so that the use of the animal litter according to the invention to increase the performance, e.g. by increasing the weight of animals.
In a preferred embodiment, the animal litter according to the invention may additionally contain additives.
The animal litter is granulated in the form of pellets. The granulation can be achieved by conventional granulation techniques, in particular by pelleting, roll compaction, build-up aglomeration.
The lignocellulose contained in the animal litter according to the invention is present for example in the form of available in large quantities, vegetable raw materials containing cellulose and lignin (wood, grain products, hay, straw, etc.) before.
By containing in one embodiment in the animal litter according to the invention, ammonia-binding substances is formed a Tiereinstreu that stores ammonia over a long time and can then be used as a low-cost energy sources in biogas plants.
By the inventions proposed additives also Schwimmschiechen and problems, such as the clogging of lines can be prevented and sulfur bound.
In the animal litter according to the invention can be used as additives binders, flow aids, coagulants, emulsifiers, stabilizers, thickening and gelling agents. Particularly advantageous is the use of at least one additive that improves the processing process and increases the functionality of the animal litter.
The animal litter according to the invention is due to their composition dust-free and harmless to animals and humans.
Furthermore, the composition of the animal litter invention corresponds to the provisions of organic farming.
The use of additive has, inter alia, the advantage that an antibacterial effect unfolds and so the productivity is increased.
The content of maize as a binder in the animal litter according to the invention is advantageous for pelleting.
Since the animal litter according to the invention has a very high ability to bind water and binds in one embodiment, ammonia or ammonium compounds, dry soils are achieved and causes an improvement of the stable climate and the exhaust air values.
An advantage of the animal litter according to the invention is also that it can be worked with small Einstreumengen from 1 kg to 5 kg per m2.
Surprisingly, it has been shown that when using the animal bedding invention coliform bacteria are massively obstructed, and achieved by the constant mixing of animal bedding by birds a vital poultry and cannibalism is reduced. Thus, a stable and easy poultry operation is possible when the animal litter according to the invention is used. An advantage is also that this reduces the manure volume, so that the use of the animal litter according to the invention in a biogas plant is possible.
For the animal litter according to the invention, strongly fibrillated lignocellulose is preferably used. The reversibility of fibrillated lignocellulose leads to a rapid absorption of moisture and a constant evaporation capacity. The faster drying of the animal litter according to the invention saves time for subsequent littering.
If the lignocellulose is in double-milled form, there is additionally a litter with very high internal and external surface.
